Sierra Dojo offers a number of classes
to fit your schedule and area of interest. We focus on
the individual student, so student-to-teacher ratios remain small. Students get one-on-one time with the instructors on a
regular basis, so they can truly understand and apply the principles
they are learning. |

Karate Kids
For ages 8 - 12, this program is a structured format for kids to learn self-discipline and
is an excellent introduction to martial arts training.

Kosho-Ryu Kenpo
An art with roots
in Japan, it includes both hard and soft techniques. Punching,
kicking, throws, takedowns, and jointlocks are part of the
curriculum.

Isshin-Ryu Karate
From the island of Okinawa, this art
includes not only striking and kicking, but also joint locks,
take-downs, and weapon study.

Danzan-Ryu Jujitsu
The jujitsu taught here is NOT the
Brazilian variety. Our roots go back to Okinawa through Japan and
Hawaii. It's old style. If you want to learn how to turn
anyone into a pretzel in several ways, this is the class for you.

Kombatan (Arnis)
Arnis, also known as Escrima or Doce
Pares, is the art of Filipino stick fighting. (Minimum age: 16)

Weapons Study
This course is a rotating
curriculum that covers the long staff (bo) and truncheon (sai).
Other weapons will be added based on the interest of the class.
